Final Cut Pro X is a professional video editor for the OS X operating system from Apple. Apple’s version of Final Cut Pro X, built from the ground up, replaced Final Cut Pro in 2011.

Classes are held in a computer class equipped with MacPro.

COURSE PROGRAM

Lesson 1.

The concept of the technological process of installation. Import and markup of material. Three types of containers: clip, event, library. Use of Keywords, Ratings, Comments, Markers and Roles.

Lesson 2.

Installation tools. Rough cut of the material. Compound clip and Connected Storyline. Trimming: Ripple, Roll and Ripple, Slip and Slide. Useful keyboard shortcuts. Full HD and Ultra HD capabilities on weak MacBooks. Proxy files. Audio commentary recording. Stereo sound 2.0 and multichannel Surround Sound Dolby Digital 5.1. Dynamic range of sound.

Lesson 3.

Detailed project setting. Working with sound: graphic equalizer, compressor, noise reduction, reverb, delay, distortion, modulation. Animation. Installing and removing animation keys during transformations. Change in speed.

Lesson 4.

Color correction. Video filters. Video generators. Video transitions. Analysis of the color balance of the image. Several layers of color correction. Making and using bows. Geometric and color masks. Color grading animation. Synchronization of video and sound. Editing of multi-camera clips. Chromakey. Export. Working with Apple Compressor. Archiving material.
